Nestled in the old world side of Canton Ohio is an experience to be savored. I am speaking of Desert Inn Restaurant on 12th st NW. Casual elegance greets you as you walk into this delectable eatery. I had the pleasure of dining at Desert Inn this past week and this chef will give it 4.5 stars. The Syrian Rice was flavorful and moist. The lamb succulent. Seasoned perfectly. Portions were bountiful and the prices moderate. To top off this particular Friday evening, entertainment was tastefully provided by a belly dancer named Satrena. Tasteful and poised this young lady gave an artful performance. Kudos to the chefs in the kitchen and owners Mark and Tina, without whom this flavorful treat would never have happened.
